Water drawing

This drawing made use of an effect created by dropping water on oil paints.

I set the rule that I don’t use any brushes and try to separate each drop of water.

As water evaporated and oil paints gradually dried, the surface of the painting were changing and showing different expressions.

 

油絵の具の上に水をたらし、油の中に水を沈ませることによって出てくる表情を作った。筆をつかわず、水滴同士がくっつかないようにするというルールを設定した。

水が蒸発して、油が徐々に乾燥してくるにつれて違った表情を見せ、変化する。
